i've been sick for past 2 weeks so didn't get to run much but..

under7
finally cracked 7 min mile for 3+ miles. got under 7 min mile for 2.9 miles 5 runs ago and for 3.2 miles before i got sick. i thought it was a fluke until today. my strides back also. long strides ideal for distance running. but i think i can keep it up for maximum of 5-6 miles for now if i go all out. ran 2 x 100m sprints after the run. my legs are finally getting stronger enough for me to consciously bring my knees up higher for faster speed.

woooot
my top pace's getting faster too. hopefully i can get under 6 mins for a mile within 6 weeks.. call me lazy but i don't want to go crazy and push myself too hard. since i'm getting old and also i have to be injury free for the upcoming soccer game vs. kc which i do not want to miss.

finally..... took longer than it should've been..
it's really 38 runs since one of the run was like 4 seconds long and pace should've been near 7' 30" since one of my run wasn't configured correctly when i used lunarlites.. oh well..

should be able to hit the 100 mile mark within 2 weeks..

august4
tried on the lunarlites.. really light and very good cushioning.. but it did have a glaring fault. around the heel area, there's no padding. if you wear low no show socks with this sneakers, you will get blister on your achilles area.. other than that it's great. another thing is that you need to recalibrate nike+ if you switch over to lunarlites. distance was off by about 10%-15% compared to my normal running pair (hayward 3).

bubye 360s.. hello lunarlite

since they didn't have same airmax 360 IIs that i sent them and current airmax 360 IIIs looking really ugly, i decided to try something new.. more performance oriented..

lunarlite1

lunarlite2

it's using a new foam called lunarlite.. apparently, they've been developing it for past 30 years or something but didn't have the technology to contain the foam which is sensitive to light, air and water.. it actually looks good in this picture but in real life, it's pretty ugly.. i'll write a review whether it's worth the hype or not when i start using it.

pushedpace

now i just need to keep it up.. couldn't run any longer since it's been too humid.. i'll try pushing it again when it's cooler and drier..
